ive got a few cases that are 2x4 but im not really enjoying the size

im looking to either a 2x2 or 1x2
a small size like I can grip it in 1 hand

and I wouldn't mind at all having a nice fully tooled one either

any of you use these size cases
what brand do you recommend or case maker that makes this size

if you dont need a jump/ break cue
based on the type of games you play
a 1 butt 2 shaft case is all you need
i cant foresee why you would need 2 butts and 2 shafts if you dont need a break/jump cue..
maybe you could explain why you would want a 2x2

one playing butt and one shaft
and a jump break with one shaft
i advise against that
if for some reason your playing shaft gets damaged you have no back up

no need I usually take 2 with me for no reason really, I just like options
no break cue
I have only pool cues atm and carom shafts I play on my pool butts

I have yet to damage a shaft so severely that id need a back up
im not a pro just a weekend warrior whos main game is 3c
im putting pool on the back burner

I have a 1x2 cheap one not bad but its tubes dont go all the way and I can hear th e shafts banging the butt

I bought a katana 2 x 2 and its been working great. Tight fit, so you have to be careful to remove shafts before the butts. It has a compression lid which is hard to remove until you get the technique down. Affordable and minimalistic case.
