Lines I like to hear:

I put myself through college shooting pool.

I play in a pool league.

I'll play anyone in this bar for $100.

To add a little history here, Babe Cranfield. At age 15, won the US Junior Champship and then moved to senior competition, winning the US Amatuer title on his first try and winning a total of three times, 1938,1939,1940. He was the youngest, to that time, to win the Amatuer at age 22.

She was a multiple year US Junior national champion [not sure which years] but also won back to back world junior titles in 2006 and 2007. Also, I think Nick Varner, like Max Eberle years later, won back to back college championships in the US.

Not sure how you define A Pro without a Pro tour in the US but Jessie can give weight to all or most listed here.
