Not a expert on Gold Crown's but mine looks just like that one and it's a GC 2, the sure way to tell is to check the feet for leg leveler's and the underside of the rail's for the figure Eight's or the Blind nut. Or it could be a little of both like mine turned out to be. Any whey that appears to be a nice table it still has the lower apron's . Good Luck if your buying.

Thank you all. This table is pretty cheap so it seems like a no brainer to me. Renegade, I could open the link and see the thumbnail of that chart but it wouldn't get big when I clicked on it. Not sure why not. Do you have that uploaded somewhere else that I may view it?

Thanks for all the help everyone. I went ahead and picked this table up. My son and I are going to restore it cosmetically to set up at his place. Should be lots of fun. We're going with a green and Yellow Oregon Duck's theme. Will post photos of it when complete. Paid $750

Is it a 3? - 09-28-2012, 02:26 PM

Noles20,

Unless the table is a mix of parts, it's a 3 or newer because it has the small rail counters. Scroll back up to the original poster's table, and compare the size of the counters with your table. I's and II's had the larger counters.

I tried to look at that before I posted the pic, but each time I clicked on it, an error came up on my computer. The person selling it said it was a 3 but I just wanted to verify. When I began looking for a table, I wasn't considering something of this calibre but I figure if I am going to get a table, I should make it a good one.

I see what you mean now. I thought you were referring to the link that was posted with the charts from Brunswick.
