Big difference between knocking and simply asking.
R U a lawyer? U sure sound like one. Since you asked, it's likely you already know the answer...

I feel it adds Zero to the price because of the owner. If it were Mosconi, then yes(and certainly not this amount), otherwise not so much.

Not sure what my profession has to do with it.

I actually do know the answer, nobody knocked the sale price.

Thanks for confirming that.

Stop your damn squirming. Buy it and then let us know if it is worth the price.

Simple.

Go go go!

The seller has the right to ask whatever they wish. The cue will bring what the market will bear. A cool Tascarella used by Rodney for a big win is definitely a nice collector's item.

FYI for whomever buys this gem. It's a Left-Handed Cue.

That is what he states in the Break and Run DVD. Says that players with better cue ball control (him, efren, etc) look at cue ball last. Says that better shot makers look at object ball last.

I thought your post was "knocking" the price, just my humble .02$ which I am sure you could care less about(I actually thought the same as you). The way I read it, you were disparagingly referencing the price, like" who would actually pay that", implying it's a rip-off. I do see where you are coming from too. Semantics.....

Best wishes, take it easy

Ahhh, that helps explains a lot and thanks for taking the time to post.

Well, in my "defense" I did not feel I was knocking anything.

Here is what I wrote and is what started this "knocking" business:

I have no idea, just askin' because that is a big number for a Tasc.
In my mind, asking if $25,000 is realistic isn't quite knocking anything, and I never meant to imply "who would pay that".

On that note, I would like to meet the person that can lay down 25 large on Rocket's cue. That's stronger than cat piss.

The irony of course is if it were in the For Sale section I wouldn't have mentioned a peep.

This will be just another overpriced cue. If it was Efren's cue than I understand.

I wonder how much is the chalk that Rodney used is worth? 5k?

Efren plays with a $100 cue and is still the best, remember when I saw him play with a cue with tape hanging off of it lol

I would agree if it were the owner ONLY, but in this case this is a cue that was used by a notable pro who probably won many tourneys and won a major championship with it plus has the players name engraved in a plaque inlaid in the cue so it has provable provenance. That does add something IMO. How much that remains to be seen.

Design is a fingerprint of the mind....
