after christmas I will connect with you about some tip work etc. I like to see other peoples work and learn from it. as you know the tip is THE most important part of the cue and the junk thats out there is stupid, putting a 25 cent tip on a $20,000 cue. I agree you should get what you pay for.

I had a Kamui once, It was perfectly installed, centered cut down to the correct height. I used it for about 50 hours of play and all of a sudden it went flat(didnt mushroom) and was hard as a diamond. I took it to SW cues here in Vegas, Al tried to cut it off with a box cutter or something, he said"this is the hardest thing ever" He put the shaft in the lathe and cut the tip off. all the glue seemed to penetrait the leather and was much harder than a WB tip, but when it was new it was fantastic-so i'd like to try again this was 2 ears ago.

    best

wow thats a very tall tip on your avitar,

I just recieved cue with Kamui Blacks on it that were that tall, it was horrible. Are they suppost to be cut down some? I like about just over 1/3 of what is in the pic, they are 65% too tall for me. Is it a matter of preferance or is that correct. I play with triangles and have them trilled way down and change them out often. I have played for 25 years and seen alot of tips-just never any this tall.

Is this just to show the tip off or to play with? thats the real question-please let me know I like to learn,

I could send you a shaft and let you put a tip on it and i'll use it for 50 hours of play and see what happens, im real curious. , IMO they sent out a shaft that wasnt ready to be sold. tip was too tall, wood wasnt sealed etc

    thnaks in advance

Ive Been a bit swamped this last month, keeping up with two full time jobs (hopefully only for a short while) and keeping up with orders. So first off I want to appologise for any mistakes made on my part.. I honestly work 18+ hours a day right now and still try to have time to spend with my fiance and son..

Anyhoo, getting down to brass tacks.. I thought I would inspire a little fresh blood to try my services, as it seems like my other.. other job is starting to edge out to a close....
