Looking for something simple...but nice...but simple... - 06-19-2016, 11:34 PM

Currently own an Instroke, but want something more simple...elegant might be the better word.

2x4, brrown leather, and not a lot going on. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if it didn't even have pouches. Just like a nice old wallet or baseball glove.

I'd rather the styling focus be on quality of leather, and stitching instead of fancy tooling, or rivets. Sometimes these really fancy cases just look a little gaudy.
I could live with an inlay or 2, but its the rivets and tooling that just seems too much for me.

I'm not scared of spending some money (600ish maybe at the top end) for one I really like.

I'm sure any maker could make exactly what I want, but it seems like something I'm after shouldn't have to be custom. i.e., I'd like to just order the damn thing

I've been out of it for awhile, and will be picking up a Richard Black cue and need a home for it. Not sure who all the names are in cases, but my google-fu is not turning up a lot.
Any help?

Maybe a whitten is just your thing. Check out their website they have cases available for immediate shipment from time to time.

You might try an On-q by Garth Bair.
Good luck.
