I know you're being clever, but actually, those old two piece aluminum jointed Dufferins back in the 1980s hit like a mule! They made a sneaky pete that hit really nice, too, I always took those cues seriously...inexpensive didn't mean cheap in that case.

My favorites as far as great playability
Schon(with a Predator shaft all Schons feel great)
Kevin Varney(read alot of things about Kevins cues, but his cues hit like a rock)
Scott Gracio(Great playability, one of the best)
Tony Mathews(when this guy made cues, man did they play well)
Predator cues in general, but not the Icon stuff the older the better like the P2
I was given a cue on a deal for free that I still own and can't sell cause the butt has a horrific roll but man I play like a king with it.I don't even know who made it and the guy who gave it to me doesn't remember either. All he said to me was it was the best cue he ever struck a ball with but when the butt warped so did his brain and couldn't shoot with it no more knowing it was warped.Lucky me I guessTakecare

Again...like your other thread....you'll get as many answers as there are makers.

Honestly, there is a terrific archive of threads here on AZB. Pick a maker or makers and start searching.
