Student observation - 03-13-2013, 04:52 PM

Last week I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days with Randy as a student and wanted to relay my experience to you.

My background: 63 recently retired, played young a few lessons in 90's.

Randy met me first thing Monday morning and immediately sat down and started going over the material. It was easy to tell he was passionate and excited about pool and working with me. Oh I forgot to mention he had heart surgery less than 2 weeks earlier. He talked to me about what I wanted to accomplish: I explained I wanted to be technically proficient. He filmed me; went over the flaws, and then made me work through my personal pre-shot routine, my eye pattern etc. Day two was more in depth (aiming, back and front hand english .... more)

It was a great learning experience for me, and whenI have incorporated the techniques into my game I am heading back for more.

Thanks.
Bert

Good for you!

I'll be 60 in Sept. Us old dogs learning new tricks should have our own Nation Wide Leagues with the finals in Ari. or Fla, Mayby 1/2 of us would stay there.

Enjoy your new found techniques & info.

Shoot Well, Best Wishes, & the Best of Health,
