He is/was not in a prison operated by Louisiana. If incarcerated, he is/was in a fedral lock-up run by the Bureau of Prisons.
The final order in the case file sets forth the sentence, it is in the court file, and it is a public record. Call the Court Clerk for the Federal District Court for the Western District of Louisiana (probably in Lafayette), and they might accomodate you.
