Anyone wanting to start a raffle there, be my guest.
I would suggest limiting it to AZ members and they would have to post there AZ name.
Thanks

Good deal! Hopefully we can get enough people over there that we can run them frequently. Maybe we should make a rule that you cannot not have more then 1, maybe 2 at a time, so it doesn't become cluttered like this one became at times. I know you were wondering why it took you longer to fill, and the main answer is because this section got flooded. Some people don't realize it, but the more raffles going on, the slower everything takes in general. Just a suggestion.
I might be trying it later today.

I agree 100% Ross. A one raffle at a time limit is a great idea.

One note about my forum. Any post you write on there cannot be edited or deleted by the poster. Only I can do it.
So please use a little common sense when posting. Thanks
I am in the process of exploring the admin side of it now.

Lee, as you well know, when running a raffle it takes frequent updating of the original to post keep it current, or updated, as the raffle progresses, are you saying this is not possible?

I'm looking into it now.
It can be done as a running list.
A new post with the new names might have to be posted once a day to update instead of editing the original.
This process will take time to figure out and will absolutely be different, but do we have a choice???
If it cant be here on AZ ... then where??? Are we to just give up raffles??? Are we to lay down at the first sign of resistance??? No, I say, NO !!!
I am open to suggestions and ideas.

I totally agree, no one loves raffling more than I do, and it's a very generous offer you are making, and I'm sure the entire raffle community is grateful,,,,,,,,,,I hope you don't think I was criticizing, it just threw up all sorts of flags to me when I read your post about not being able to update,,,that's why I asked,,,,,,I like keeping my raffles up to date and so that question came to mind.

RIP AZB RAFFLES, hopefully in the future they will return.

Sad, sad news. These raffles were so much fun. Hopefully things work out with Lee's site. Thanks to AZ for all the fun previously and thanks to Lee for helping out.

That is indeed a good idea, we need to find a way to get members on there so they can be aware of the raffles going on.
Maybe PayPal should just allow raffles all together or create a system that makes it easier.
