Rule question - 11-01-2019, 06:52 AM

Touching ball. Cue ball is touching a color and you need to shot a color.
Can you designate another color for the shot? Example touching the black but designates the blue, is the legal? I understand you cannot move the black.

Yes. You get credit for contact with the touching ball if it is helpful but it does not keep you from playing other colors. Getting a touching ball is always helpful unless you want/need to pot that particular ball.
