Fargo rating in minis ? - 05-23-2016, 03:16 PM

Was wondering if the Fargo scale will be used during minis this year as opposed to the old format of race to 3 (advanced-4 master-5)......

With the Fargo ratings in place some "open" players would not play even.

Just curious

AWESOME QUESTION!!!!!!

I have never played minis since losing 3-0 to an "open" player who ran three straight racks. If Fargo ratings are used I will definitely give the minis another try.

Last year they had different categories for the minis. The races were the same for each player but an Advanced player couldn't play in Open minis.

Curious how they will do it this year, maybe separate it according to the different divisions? 645 and up would be in one mini, 575 to 644 in another....and maybe 574 and below in still another. Guess we will wait and see.......
