It's funny how 3 weeks without a cue in your hand can affect your game. I recently took the family to Disney World for 2 weeks, resulting in a 3 week absence from my 9-ball league. The break didn't help my standing since those weeks don't show up on the statistics, but for overall wins, 9s off the break and league standings, it sucks.

So, after 2 weeks of league back under my belt I am finally starting to hit stride again, although I am still a little ways off from my "A"...

My last post included a rant regarding my recreational 9-ball league, in which a couple players were not adhering to the "unwritten" rules. I have finished venting on this subject, I thought I would update anyone that might be interested in the outcome.

The player most associated with the infractions has quit, which is unfortunate. Although many in the league were getting frustrated, a simple adjustment in play would have sufficed, but no one wants to see a fellow pool...

Although I consider myself a fairly competent pool player, this league best suits my personal situation at the moment, plus a friend comparable in calibre also plays in this league.
