    Mike;

Thanks for taking care of that for me. You were right btw, I did find my activation link in my 'spam' folder. I thought I checked it, but I must've somehow missed it. Thanks again.

    Sincerely,

    Rich "Megatron69"

Mike, I put a thread on the For Sale section and was unable to add any pics of the cues I was selling. That option (to add attachments) was not listed anywhere. Thanks, Jay

Hi there mate, I enjoy the forums, thanks for making me a member!
I did have a question regarding the forums, sorry if I missed the answer somewhere.

Is it possible to block posts from certain sections of the forums, i.e.
    "non pool related" ?

When looking through active posts, the non pool related posts can make finding pool related stuff more difficult, as you can see in the picture, sometimes its pages and pages of non pool related posts. If nothing can be done no biggie/

Why are the Ginky, Morris, and Rousey sections in Instructors still showing?. No one has posted in looong time. Sure that space could be used for something like maybe a Video section.

Hey Mike how are you doing these days? Haven't seen too many flame wars so I guess the website is doing decently ha ha, do you have a chance to bang balls around every once in a while? I was wondering if I could change my screenname again, seems like I'm maturing and want to use something a little more factual or possibly descriptive....got any suggestions besides my actual frickin name? Thank you much sir!!

    Neil

I wrote this for Snookered magazine, but they already had a Mosconi Cup feature and they decided not to use it. Didn't want it to go to waste. It was written before the Charlie Williams captaincy announcement...

After many months of fans and players stressing over their respective points lists, the names of the players who will represent their home countries have been announced for the 2011 Mosconi Cup. As a fan of the game, I thought I would give you an American fan's perspective...

So, I have been wracking my brain recently trying to figure out what it is about this ABP boycott that irks me so much. I think it is wrong on a number of different levels, but there was something bigger that bothered me and I couldn't put my finger on it. I think I have figured it out though.

Professional Pool is in a tough place right now. It has been for quite some time though. It just seems to be getting worse and worse. The economy is partly to blame, but the various people involved...

Glad to be home from a loooong trip to the World 8-Ball Championship in UAE and then the Masters in Virginia. Made some random notes about the UAE trip and thought I would share them here...

Earl Strickland
The US did not have many representatives at the event this year. (They never do) One US player really stood out for his behavior at the event. Say what you will about Earl Strickland, but he wowed the crowd with an exhibition before things got started (thanks most likely...

It never ceases to amaze me what is said and passed off as the truth online.

Now most people know that there are three major billiards magazines out there and they all have websites.

I am used to one of them proudly proclaiming traffic stats that are so far from the truth that is laughable, but this note isn't about that magazine.

I took a look this weekend at the Media Guide from Pool and Billiard magazine. (poolmag.com) They state on their media guide...

Still recovering from the trip to Alpine California for the WPBA San Diego Classic.

What a great show. The three days I spent there was the longest I have been at a Classic Tour event and it is very interesting to see how the level of play rises from day one to day three.

Although a couple of players ran out of gas late on day three, the majority of the players still in the running took their game to a different level.

Of particular note was Jeanette...
