I shoot with a sp-49 and was wondering why there is two different sp-49 cues? My cue is the first sp49 with the natural colored wood... If anyone has any information or can help in anyway I would be really grateful.... Thank you.

I asked Bob Runde about why earlier Schon's were so different, same models had rings, next cue did not of the same model and so forth. He pretty much told me that what ever was available at the time the cue was being made, that's how it was finished. I've seen the SP-49 have about four different looks. This is probably why the records of each cue they made had some pretty tough records. To bad the cues did not have a number system or serial #.
