Yeah I use the APA site. Haven't checked out the message board though. If he's in Boring, I'm surprised he's not in my division. We're close to Boring. Though so is Gresham... Yeah I need to hit some singles stuff. I've never been a tournament player but I've been wanting to get into it.

How did you know I knew of him, by the way? Small world. Oh you must've seen my post about him in unknown monster players thread. I only saw him play that one night and only on a 7'... so I don't know if he's actually a "monster" player.

Sounds like he's picking up fairly quickly, I think a little quicker than I did, but I can't quite remember. I know that hitting a 9 was dang tough and was a while before I was able to hold as a 9. I'll see what I can manage on the message board on poolplayers.com, Tarek's in Boring, I think. You should check out the APA site, though.. you can get your stats and lots more. Also, take part in the singles qualifiers if you can and get as many low rated players to do so as well.

Oh I'm guessing you must've read my post about him in the unknown monster players thread... I wouldn't consider him a monster player just yet, but he definitely has that natural potential (or he was having a really good night!). Do you know if he's a user here? Maybe we could meet up with him I'd like to shoot with him. I think his team was from Portland.

Talked a little with him on the APA message board, figured we'd play a bit soon. I was reading through your posts to see if I knew you, but couldn't find anything that rung a bell. Figured out that I've met and played against another member here before.. but that's another story. I'm around the Mt. Tabor area myself, mostly just shooting around in the bars.

Yeah I'm down to get together sometime. I live on Mt Hood but I make it to Portland every once in a while. I might be going overseas for a couple months to spend time with some family while I'm between jobs, but that's not set in stone yet. How do you know Tarek? And how do you know I know him lol? Well I guess I don't really know him, I just watched him at Tri cups last year. Kid was pretty handy with a cue ball.
